Provo, Utah-based Natural Trends, LLC announced at the 2011 PPAI EXPO that it has been named exclusive promotional products channel partner for 5 major national brands.  The brands introduced include WD-40®, Spot Shot®, OxiOut®, Lava®, Max-Freeze™.

Imitation Sani-Pen® Surrendered to Natural Trends

Natural Trends, a leading supplier of hand sanitizer, announced that a large quantity of patent-violating product has been surrendered to them by an unnamed industry competitor. 

Described as a lesser grade imitation of their popular Sani-Pen – Instant Hand Sanitizer Spray, the product was fabricated in China, filled with Chinese sanitizer, and imported to the US in violation of design and utility patents held by Natural Trends, according to Paul Christensen, President of Natural Trends. 

“As the firm who invented and introduced the first sanitizer spray pen in 2004, we take our patents very seriously, and we are pleased that a swift settlement was reached,” said Christensen.  He indicated that all inventory of the inferior grade knock off has been destroyed.
