Waterless Anti-Bacterial Sani-Pen

Dear Distributor,

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has indicated that some brands of sanitizer are ineffective. It includes the following statements:

“For alcohol-based hand sanitizers, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends a concentration of 60% to 95% ethanol or isopropanol... Some products marketed to the public as antimicrobial hand sanitizers are not effective in reducing bacterial counts on hands... a product with 40% ethanol as the active ingredient was purchased... Despite a label claim of reducing ‘germs and harmful bacteria’ by 99.9%, we observed an apparent increase in the concentration of bacteria... Consumers should be alerted to check the alcohol concentration in hand sanitizers because substandard products may be marketed to the public.” (Source: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/EID/vol12no03/05-0955.htm)

This information is very disturbing! Our own recent laboratory tests confirmed that some low cost sanitizer being imported from China is not what it claims. From toys, to milk, to sanitizer... is it really worth the risk... especially now? Even in the U.S., a company was recently raided and all sanitizer seized by U.S. Marshals for bacterial contamination of their U.S. produced sanitizer.

At Natural Trends, all alcohol hand sanitizer products are produced and filled under FDA regulation in the U.S. and include the FDA required Drug Facts Label. Each batch of sanitizer produced is independently tested to verify a 62%+ alcohol content. MSDS sheets are available upon request. Sanitizer is a core product for us, not a sideline... and never imported from China.

The need for sanitizer during the flu season has never been higher. We look forward to providing you with safe and effective sanitizer that you and your clients can trust... always!

Sincerely,

sig
